LaLicious Vanilla Body Oil ($24.00/ 8 fl. oz.) is described as, an “all-natural body oil is made with coconut oil which absorbs quickly and easily into your skin, leaving it moisturized and protected without feeling greasy. Macadamia nut oil is a luxurious oil known to also moisturize and protect the skin. Almond and vitamin-e oils condition, moisturize, and smooth you to perfection!”

The first time I used this oil I didn’t really notice how quickly it absorbs. I’m guessing it was because I used it before bed and just woke up the next day with silky skin. When I used it during the day it was evident that it is indeed a daily oil that can reapplied daily. I’m kind of torn with this oil. First; I love it! I’ve already looked online to find where to buy it locally. Yes, ladies it is just that serious. I can add this to my list of top 3 body oils to love and get addicted to. For reasons unbeknownst to me, this is the only oil I’ve ever used that has cleared my eczema scarring. After the first use I noticed at least a 30% difference and t gets better everyday.  No, it did not cure my eczema, because once I stopped using it I was itching again, but while using it it is completely under control. If you’ve ever experienced the dark patchy spots that eczema brings alone then you understand how huge this is. These aren’t ingredients that I haven’t used before, really don’t understand why it works for me but it does.

So I bet you’re wondering, “what is there to be torn about?” I have neutral feelings about vanilla fragrances; for the most part I just avoid it because it doesn’t move me. What I noticed about this vanilla fragrance is that it was very commercial-like and almost creamy like a cupcake. Yet, the labeling declares it as an all-natural body oil. Both essential oils (natural and extracted directly from the source) and fragrance oils (can be natural but are known to be a mix of natural and synthetic compounds) are listed as ingredients but without knowing the source of fragrance oils it is possible that this may not be as natural as it claims. As questionable as this is for me I still love this oil and it has done wonders for my skin.

Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Essential and Fragrance Oils, Soybean Oil, Vitamin E Oil
