Mole Removal Scar – Dermatology – MedHelp

So about a month ago I decided to try removing my mole with apple cider vinegar. It seemed to work, but that little bit of OCD in me caused me to never be satisfied, as every time the scab came off, there was a slight bump where the mole used to be. I thought that the acv was not penetrating deep enough into the mole, and that was why it still remained raised, as there was some mole left over. However I did some more research and learned about hypertrophic scars, and that they form usually in high tension areas. This location on my face experiences a fair amount of tension when eating or laughing. Anyway, long story short, I kept applying acv to the newly formed scar about 2-3 times, trying to flatten it (this made a new scab form everytime). Until one time I went really hard and messed up the surrounding skin a lot causing it to scab as well. Luckily the surrounding skin has healed well, but still the location of where the mole used to be is still red and feels raised to the touch. Now there are many hairs coming out from the location where the mole used to be, so that might also contribute to my feeling of it being raised, but I doubt it.

The picture I’ve added is an image of the scar, right near the lip (I think it’s fairly obvious, though it could resemble acne). This is about a week and two days after the scab came off, I’ve been applying my silicone strips pretty much 24 hours, and have recently begun using vitamin E oil and Cream as well.

My question is: Is it raised due to it being a hypertropic scar? Or is it raised due to there being left over mole deeper in the skin? Also, if I leave this scar alone, and just keep applying vitamin E oil/cream and using my Silicone Strips,  will it flatten and revert to the normal skin tone overtime?

I’d appreciate it if anyone took the time to respond, I need some opinions.
