A man accused of gunning down another man outside a Waterville bar last year December will have his fate decided by a judge and not a jury.
The Kennebec Journal is reporting 30-year-old Matthew Partridge waived his right to jury trial Thursday morning.
Police say Partridge shot and killed 26-year-old Justin Smith of China after a bar fight between mutual friends outside You Know Who’s Pub last year.
His trial is set for Augusta 12th.
