I am a 39 soon to be 40 year old female and have had debilitating pain for about 12 years. At first, meaning the first 10 years, sigh, I thought it was gynecological. One doc said maybe a pelvic bone spur, that’s why sex hurts. Another doc said could be a cyst and put me on birth control. I promptly gained 25 pounds and had migraines and nausea for about 6 weeks before I stopped.

This may be far fetched but I am almost sure it is not gynecological. if it was a cyst then it would not have been able to go undetected for so long.

I did have kidney stones when I was very young, around 22. Since then I have probably passed 30 to 50. Sometimes I barely get any pain sometimes I feel it in the flank. Well, I was having strange pain and pressure under right rib and went to the doc. Liver enzymes are high but not life threatening. Probably because I was working so much eating like crap and completely stressed out. They seem to be slowly coming down. But what I noticed is the pain seems VERY SIMILIAR to flank pain when I get kidney stones. I always pass stones from the left kidney so I feel the pain in the right flank. NOW ALL PAIN ALL THE TIME!!! The pain radiates, and I am not kidding here, like kidney stones pain in the flank around front and back down to the right ovary area and down low in the very front of the pelvic area where the original pain started and shoots through the left hip and down my left leg inside and outside.

But, now here’s the kicker….only happens after I ovulate. Every single month without fail. The pelvic pain, which is very low and right in the middle used to be anytime anyplace just all the time. Now it is tied in with all the other pains and they all start after I ovulate. And once it hits forget about leaving the bathroom. I am in there 25 times a day. I can’t hold anything. I am at a complete loss. That’s why I wanted to try looking at it from a different angle. Maybe the kidney problems I have had for years were not just kidney problems and I may actually have interstitial cystitis. Hence why I am on this forum hoping somebody can I don’t know, back me up or at least have a similiar experience and not think i am

I am so tired of being in pain for two weeks out of every month. I wish I could take my life back but honestly I never really had one that was devoid of pain. So Maybe for my 40th birthday coming up very soon I will be able to be pain free. I am gong to go ahead and start on some of the protocols suggested in the “Solving the IC Puzzle”. At this point no amount of cleansing fasting dieting wheat elimination exercising eating whatever I want only juicing has worked. And I KNOW a lot of the people here have been in the place I am at now.
