Mole Removal – A Personal Account | Jenine Lillian

dermatendWhen my husband and I started dating we frequently visited our local water park. One day I briefly grazed my hand against his bare back and thought I felt a bug on him. I immediately tried to flick it off. To my horror, I discovered that it was a large skin tag on his back. I was awfully embarrassed. He noticed my silent disgust and decided right then and there he was going to get rid of his skin tag. After a pricy visit to the dermatologist he was skin-tag free. Well, years later, his skin tag has started to come back. Instead of going back to the doctor, I started to search for a home remedy that would work. I came across a product that I felt could possibly remove my husband’s skin tag and the growing mole in my armpit. Here is the link I found most useful Dermatend. It worked for us.

What is Dermatend?

Forget about having to go into the doctor’s office anymore, at least when it comes to moles, skin tags and warts. This is an all-natural home remedy to remove all your unwanted skin markings. With only a few easy applications, you can quickly and safely make your skin beautiful and scar free. It is made with nature’s most supreme ingredients.

How does it work?

This product can remove unwanted moles, skin tags and warts in just three easy steps. First you must prep the blemish. Just like in the dermatologist office, the doctor would prep the area but, this way you can do it yourself at home. All you have to do is gently scrape the imperfection. This part kind of scared me but I knew that opening the area would help Derma Tend make its way into the blemish and start it’s magic. After you scrape it, clean it with hot soap and water then dry well with a towel. As you can imagine, patting it dry would work best. I accidentally rubbed…ouch!

Second step involves the actual product. Before you apply the medicine, rub down the tube to work loose its contents. Now you are ready to apply! Use a small amount on blemish only. Try to avoid the area around your mole as much as possible. Next, sit down and watch your favorite TV show or read a book. You will need to wait for 20-30 minutes. Don’t worry, the minor stinging you feel is normal. If you don’t feel any stinging, you didn’t scrape your mole, wart or skin tag good enough so try again!

Last step is to wash off the product. A scab should form within the next 24 hours. Remember, scab equals good. Once the scab falls off, your unwanted mole will be gone, yay! If you’re like me, you’ll need to repeat the process one more time for the mole to completely disappear. Having to re-apply is normal.

Pros

The main reason I chose to try DermaTend was because I hate going to the doctor. My doctor is nice and everything but I’d rather find an at home remedy to use. When my husband had his skin tag removed, the dermatologist used a needle (no thank you, sir!) to numb the area then cut it off with a sharp blade. This process did not appeal to me. Using an at home mole remover was a much better option for me.

Besides not having to go into the office and making an appointment, the price was better for me. My health insurance isn’t that great and wouldn’t cover the removal. Using this product was more affordable for me and my family.

Because this product uses natural ingredients, I was drawn to it much more. No, I’m not a tree hugger (not that its a bad thing) but I like to recycle, plant a home garden and enjoy natural vs artificial. Who wouldn’t, right? I liked knowing that the medicine I chose to put on my skin came from good ‘ol mother nature.

I also found many dermatend reviews to be quite helpful. One in particular gave me hope that this product would do its job. Originally posted in March 2009, the reviewer gave multiple updates on their blemish removal. The last update was 3.5 years after original post and the blemish was still gone with no scarring.

Cons

Unfortunately, upon the first application of this product to my armpit mole, it didn’t completely disappear. I believe this was because I did not scrape the mole good enough before applying the medicine. Having to scrape open my mole was painful and I didn’t do a good enough job the first time. So, for the second attempt, I had my husband do it. He sure scraped it good enough because after the second application my mole is gone.

I was timid to try this product after reading a negative dermatend review that said their mole never went away after using the product for 6 months. Taking a chance though, I decided that it was worth a shot. Depending on how users follow each step, will determine the outcome because I am happy with my lack of armpit moles.

Overall, I think this product worked for me. Having had to re-apply to completely remove my mole was worth it. I was able to avoid the doctor’s office, save some money and use it on my husband’s skin tag as well. It was a convenient way to boost my husband’s self esteem and remove my unwanted armpit mole. The main ingredients are natural and safe to use. DermaTend worked for me. Will it work for you?
