Research has shown that all skin tags are benign and in most cases can just be left alone and not pose any danger or threat. However this is not easy for skin tags that are in awkward positions or those that are rather large. Such skins tags tend be knocked, bumped or even scrapped and therefore cause people to look for ways to remove them.
