      DUDE! Dermatend burned the CRAP out of me, it has this stuff called BLOODROOT and it’s some sort of corrosive chemical, definitely not recommended to be used on the skin.

      I would opt for wart mole vanish, it stings sure but it’s nowhere near the pain of dermatend. And wart mole vanish only takes one application. You put it on, leave it on for 20 minutes and you’re done, dermatend you’ll be putting it on three times a day for many days.

    Does Dermatend work.?
    Okay so I put Dermatend on my mole today on my stomach. I followed all the step and I did feel the stinging sensation for 5-10 minutes. I took off the medicine 45 minutes later. Well my mole still looks the same, should it look different or do I have to wait 24 hours to see if a scab forms>?

      One user said that you have to scratch deeper than the instructions say. He had to open up the mole for the product to get inside…. just sanding the mole was not enuf for the product to work. He also said that the “balm” was worthless after the mole was gone.

      There are not many honest reviews available to decide if this stuff is really worth buying.

      Some people are able to get moles and warts to disappear by putting duct tape on them for 6 days.

      Reading the reviews for dematend, a lot of them are clearly fake, but these 2 clearly were not.

      It’s pretty obvious that most of these reviews on various web sites that praise Dermatend are written by Dermatend employees and are fake. Anyway, here is my personal experience with this product.

      I ordered Dermatend (at the insistance of my wife) and applied it. First I scrapped the moles with an emry board (they provided). I scraped hard until the mole was almost bleeding. Then I applied Dermatend. It stings a bit. After 1 hour I washed the Dermatend off. It looks like nothing happens. Then after 10 hours the area got soar, red, irrated, and the mole doubled in size. 24hrs later it was back to normal. The next day it began to scab. After a week the mole was a hard scab and fell off. This process took 2 weeks. What I’m left with soar skin spots. The skin is very pink and tender. Almost looks like a small mosquito bite. It only worked on raised moles. Flat moles or large freckels/birth marks it did not work.

      I’d give the product 3/5 stars. A doctor charges 0 to remove a mole so it sure saved me money. As for their money back guaratnee…they make it near impossilbe. You need to save the original email receipt you got. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews

      Well, I wish I would have taken before and after pictures, so you could see this mess. I used DermaTend on two moles…one on the back of my leg and one on my ankle. The one on my ankle turned into a scab first so I stopped using the product like the instructions told me. The scab fell off, but the mole was still there…just a bit lighter and now (about 3 weeks later) the mole is cirlcled by a red scar. The one on the back of my leg seemed to get infected before it would form a scab so it took a little longer to get to this point, but now there is still an open sore there (4 weeks later)and I’m just putting some neosporin on it daily and trying to keep it clean. All in all, this product scared me. I’d say just go to a dermatologist and have a professional remove the mole. I’ve had them done before and (if nothing else) they heal a lot quicker and they actually remove the mole (and in a safe matter).

    Questions on mole removal?
    I have moles on my face that i dislike and want removed so as i started looking through ways to remove a mole i became worried about all these different problems.
    question 1) what types of mole removal are there and what would you recommend?
    question 2) I learned about skin cancer while looking around and ive had a lot of my moles for years, so is it possible that i could have skin cancer with out any symptoms or anything for years?
    question 3) how badly will it hurt to get one removed because im strong to a certain extend with pain
    question 4) if they do laser they wont be able to check for skin cancer so do the do laser only if they think its harmless?
    I have a lot of question but i think i summed it up.
