Cosmetic surgery is concerned in correcting a physical abnormality or enhancing an otherwise normal physical feature to improve a person s appearance. Cosmetic surgery is a broad field. It can offer reconstructive surgery for a patient after a damaging burn or physical trauma. It can also be a method to augment breasts, reshape a nose, or smooth out wrinkles. It is increasingly becoming popular today as many people seek to improve their looks.

One of the most popular forms of cosmetic surgery is the face lift. Face lift, also known as rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure aimed at reducing the visible signs of aging such as wrinkles. Face lifts also include other surgical work that will produce a more youthful appearance. There are many different face lift techniques that patients can choose from.

The Total Face Lift

The Superficial Musculoaponeurotic Technique (SMAS) is the best technique with the best overall results in achieving a youthful look. SMAS improves on the traditional technique by focusing on the connective tissue. When this connective tissue is tightened, the outer skin becomes smoother. Unlike the traditional pull, tuck, and staple technique, the SMAS gives a natural look. The technique is very effective in getting rid of nasolabial folds around the nose and mouth.

The Deep-Plane Lift

One kind of the most commonly performed Los Angeles face lift technique is the deep-plane. This technique was developed as a modification standard of other face lift techniques caused by aging due to ptosis (drooping) of midface structures. It is very invasive as the surgeon recontours the entire face and neck. The deep-plane technique lifts the facial tissue, skin, and underlying fat.

The Subperiosteal Lift

The subperiosteal Los Angeles face lift technique is credited as the technique that can give patients the longest-lasting results. It provides a vertical face lift to the soft tissues of the face which allows remodeling and repositioning of these soft tissues at the level of their bony origins.

Mid-face Lift

The mid-face lift technique is also known as the cheek lift because it focuses on a triangular area formed between the two corners of the eye and the corner of the mouth. With this Los Angeles face lift technique, the surgeon can reposition the underlying fat and the actual muscles so the middle of the face is pulled up and made to look more natural.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
How can I stop hairs from growing on face mole?
I tried removing face mole with a demortologist and the hairs still kept growing. I’m tired of having to pull em out with twizzers .. And it’s looking like face mole is growing back. Any ideas? I never mentioned the hair problem to demortologist because I had shaved them off at the time.. And I can’t afford on making another appointment just to ask him

    • ANSWER:
If the face mole is growing back then that is why the hair is still growing on your face. The bottom line is that the dermatologist did not completely remove the mole. You need to leave the hair to grow back and you need to see the dermatologist one more time. The dermatologist would probably remove what’s left of the mole without charging you. Just to be on the safe side, you should also ask the dermatologist to take a biopsy on what’s left of the mole that is growing back on your face.

  2. QUESTION:
Is there a way to shrink a face mole?
I’ve done some Research and I want to find a a quick and easy way to get a face mole to at least shrink. I know that the mole I have can do .no harm to me. Like I said, I did research on that part. So just something that’s not like over 20 bucks. Again, something that would most likely not expensive.

    • ANSWER:
“not over 20 bucks,” then I guess you really don’t want it to shrink, if you were SMART you would go to a dermatologist, instead of getting advice from random people online, you might end up making it WORSE, might do something to it that will remain permanent on your face, is that what you want? then go to the Dermatologist, and get Professional advice and treatment

  3. QUESTION:
How to naturally remove face moles?
This isn’t a subject I wanted to approach but I decided that I have to.
How can I safely and naturally remove face moles. I’m hoping for a simple procedure that I’m willing to be patient with. Not any kind of surgical treatment/removal. Hopefully something that will take an effect in no longer than 4 weeks.
    BTW i’m a 14 year old boy if that makes a difference…
    Thanks :)

    • ANSWER:
I think the only way and safe way is to go to the doctors and get it done properly. I wouldnt trust anything you can buy over the counter to either work or be safe on your face. Talk to your GP about it.
