1. QUESTION:
   How much would it cost for a dermatologist/family doctor to remove facial moles in Canada?
   I have a black, facial mole on my upper lip with a diameter of 3 mm. It really bugs me, but I haven’t told my parents yet. How should I tell them, and how much would it particularly cost? We’ve got insurance.

   • ANSWER:
     If I were you I wouldn’t have surgery. I’ve seen some really bad surgical scars in my time… They always say that it wont be a big scar, but I’ve seen a couple that are over 2 inches long!

   having a facial mole as a flight attendant is a big no no?
   I researched from multiple websites about this issue and most of it are saying it will affect your chances but its always vague. Does anybody know the real answer to this question? Any flight attendants out there with a facial mole? I am trying to apply for Singapore airlines which is very strict about skin and stuff.

     Singapore Airlines might be a little more strict about facial beauty, but the main requirements for any airline are that you are poised, friendly, courteous and able to provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the passengers and the flight deck.

3. QUESTION:
   What is the best way to remove facial moles?
   My son has some facial moles that he hates. He is 18 and is ready to cut them off himself. I told him I would do some research work to come up with the best way for him to get them removed. What is the best way to have them removed? What works best and is the safest way to go about the removal of these facial moles that he hates?

   • ANSWER:
     There are 5 methods that i know of as a student pharmacist
     1. Laser
     2. Freezing
     3. Surgery
     4. Styptic Pencils – The use of keratolytes (skin eating). This is self-used. You have to be careful. DO NOT USE LIBERALLY ONLY ON THE MOLE.
     5. Opt for some cream which i highly doubt.

     Most moles actually return so you’ll have to continue doing it from time to time

4. QUESTION:
   What is the best way to get rid of facial moles?
   I’m starting to get facial moles, does anyone know a good way to get rid of them?

   • ANSWER:
     Are they “moles” or “skin tags“? See the doctor and he/she can safely remove them and tell you what they are. If they are moles, they can be diagnosed after removed. Most of us, as we age get those pesky skin tags.

5. QUESTION:
   What are effective products for getting rid of facial moles?
   I want people who have the same problem as me or have relatives with my problem to answer. Only people who have found effective ways of dealing with facial moles please. I’d perfer if the answer not be to do surgery or go to a beauty place to get it fixed. I’d also perfer if the treatment be inexpensive. This is a serious question so please treat it as such.

   • ANSWER:
     You should have them removed by a doctor. If your regular physician doesn’t want to do it, get a referral to a dermatologist.

     They’re on your face, so don’t risk scarring or worse by treating them with OTC products.

6. QUESTION:
   Which home remedies are the best to get rid of a facial mole?
   I have this mole on the side of my face and i dont want it so what are some good home remedies to get rid of facial moles.

   • ANSWER:
     Quite simply, there aren’t any. The only (safe) way to get rid of a mole is cosmetic surgery.

     Really, I wouldn’t worry about it – lots of people have moles, just think of it as a big freckle.

7. QUESTION:
   How do you remove a facial mole?
