If there were anything strong enough to have a real effect on bacteria , the antibiotics would never have needed to be discovered.
While there are many things used as an antibiotic, our bodies do an amazing job with many infections, whether we treat them or not but some infections are stronger than what our own body can fight.
Thats why antibiotics were developed.
