  1. QUESTION:
I am having stitches out from mole removal in 4 days, what should i expect to see?
I have had 3 moles removed from my face and would like to know what the scars are going to intitially look like and how noticeable they will be. How soon can i cover them with make up? Does anyone know how much silicone gel sheets are?

    • ANSWER:
It depends on the stitches and how good the surgeon was, as well as your genetic make up. Are you predisposed to keloid scarring. If not, then you can expect to have just a very small scar in a few months time with small and almost invisible points where the stitches were.

Initially it will be quite visible, you probably don’t want to put anything on it for cosmetic reasons at this stage, aside from what your doctor prescribes – ask him or her for ointment to reduce scarring – absolutely nothing you could get over the counter will be as effective.

      (1) Clean the nevus and the area around it, use a toothpick (do not use a cotton stick to tip or wipe) to mix the liquid and sediment, and then tip a little amount of the mole remover and apply it onto the middle of the nevus. The area would turn to white colour after 1 minute. Use alcohol or water to clean the mole area after 10 minutes (If you tip the amount of mole remover properly, you don’t have to clean). The mole would peel off (May help with finger) in 8 to 20 days. Repeat the process again until the mole peeling off if the colour of the nevus is dark. (it is suggested applying the liquid to nevus on hands or legs first to see the results and learn to control the usage before applying the liquid to other areas of the body, DON’T TRY on FACE for the first time!)
